Hello Cousins, Friends and Neighbors ,

I am starting a newsletter to tell folks what I am doing, where I am, and when I am performing online. Today I am doing dances and games with Forest Pals at Bernheim Forest located a few miles below Louisville, Ky. It is a family oriented venue, people of all ages, that meet in a pavilion in Bernheim Forest. A cookout, an overnight, some dance, lots of trails, and it looks like a gorgeous day in spring for the event. I am just back from a concert at Pine Mountain on April 22 and I just noticed that the trees have all greened out, like it happened overnight! Just to bathe my eyes in new tender greenery was so refreshing after this past brutal winter!

My partner, Yoko, and I are in an Airbnb near Elizabethtown, Ky and we have been to the Trappist monastery at the Abbey of Gethsimini. We joined a prayer service and hiked the knob hills around the monastery. We plan on doing some bourbon tasting before we head over to Bernheim Forest.

I plan to be doing a concert at Pine Mountain Settlement April 29 and May 2, followed by a square dance at Cowan Community Center at their Warbler Weekend on May 9. Stay tuned as I plan to be doing some on line concerts.
